I’m Maid Ray Berry, a professional maid and the owner-operator of Maid Ray Berry LLC. When you book Maid Ray, I am the person who arrives, performs the work, and takes responsibility for the result.
I value clear instructions, orderly work, and knowing exactly what is expected of me. I enjoy the practical side of service: preparing a room, cleaning and organizing a space, handling the details, and leaving the agreed areas ready to use.
But Maid Ray Berry is more than a business name or a uniform. It is the service identity I am deliberately building my life around.
For me, being a maid means service, structure, discipline, humility, and accountability. It means doing useful work well, maintaining standards when no one is watching, accepting correction without defensiveness, and treating ordinary domestic work as something worthy of care and pride.
My service extends beyond cleaning alone. It includes organizing, laundry, room preparation, household support, and the small details that make a home feel properly cared for.
Structure is an important part of how I approach both service and personal development. I use routines, written standards, reporting, inspection, training, and accountability so that expectations do not change simply because something becomes inconvenient. When a task is assigned, the objective is straightforward: understand the standard, complete the work, and be ready for the result to be inspected.
The uniform reinforces that mindset. When I put it on, I am there to work. It makes the role visible and reminds me that service is demonstrated through actions rather than simply claimed.
I am continuing to develop Maid Ray Berry through real service, stronger routines, better housekeeping skills, and a more disciplined way of living.
I exist to serve — and I intend to become better at it through practice.

Twenty Years in Uniform
Twenty years separate these photographs, but the instinct toward service never disappeared. What began as an interest in the maid’s uniform has become something far more grounded: a commitment to showing up, taking direction, doing the work properly, and being accountable for the result.
Today, the uniform is more than an image. It represents the standard I intend to work by.
Twenty years later, I’m still Maid Ray—only now I’m putting the uniform to work.
